CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift

We're looking for a skilled, dependable CNC Machinist to join our 2nd Shift manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to produce precision components that meet Condux's quality and production standards.
• Read blueprints and work instructions.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions.
• Made machine adjustments to maintain quality.
• Record production activity using our manufacturing system.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting.
• Complete secondary operations and assembly work as needed.

• Work closely with supervisors and teammates to meet production goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. (team lifts for heavier items).
• Ability to stand and work throughout a 10-hour shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous CNC machining or manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift experience.
• Lockout/Tagout training (or willingness to complete company training).

Physical Requirements

• This position requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift while working in a manufacturing environment with machine noise.

Safety is part of everything we do. You'll receive training and be expected to follow all company safety procedures while using the required PPE, including safety glasses, steel-toe footwear, and hearing protection where required.
