CNC Machinist - 2nd shift, $24.27/hr, 10 hours M-TH 3pm-1am

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load/unload materials and parts.
• Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and complex functional gauges.
• Maintain machinery through operator PM, including lubrication and monitoring oil/coolant levels.
• Operate and maintain multiple machines simultaneously.
• Independently manage complex machining equipment, including start-up, shutdown, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• Handle product changeovers, including CNC program modifications, cutting tool/holder selections, and part-checking procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in shop skills: 5S, safety protocols, manufacturing documents, part print interpretation, gauging, refractometer readings, coolant adjustments, SPC station use, scrap procedures, ISO guidelines, and productivity databases.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years of related experience/training (or equivalent combination).
• Machinist 1 diploma strongly preferred.
• Strong math skills and ability to interpret part prints, including tolerances, GD&T, materials, and processes.
• Willingness to work in a machining environment with cutting fluids and oils.

Pay

Starting pay: $24.27/hour + $1.50 shift differential.

Schedule

2nd shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM.
