CNC Machinist - 1st Shift (7:00am - 3:00pm)

Responsibilities

• Operating CNC mill machining equipment following a production schedule.
• Accurately labeling parts.
• Stamping parts as needed.
• Moving finished parts to the proper areas.
• Keeping the machine filled with coolant.
• Ensuring that refractometer readings are within acceptable levels.
• Monitoring and filling the way oil reservoir.
• Maintaining a clean workstation adhering to 5S standards.
• Programming and machining new fixtures.
• Training new employees.
• Programming and machining prototype parts and new jobs.

Qualifications

• CNC MACHINE OPERATOR 1:
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant CNC machining experience.
• Ability to work 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift to 25 lbs.

• CNC MACHINE OPERATOR 2:
• All basic qualifications required for CNC Machine Operator 1.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant CNC machining experience.
• Intermediate maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform tasks outside of department.
• Intermediate experience working with steel and aluminum, hoist operation, measurement capabilities, blueprint reading, machine programming, and basic safety procedures.

• CNC MACHINIST 1:
• All basic qualifications required for CNC Machine Operator 2.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant CNC machining experience.
• Intermediate maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform tasks outside of department.
• Advanced experience working with steel and aluminum, hoist operation, measurement capabilities, blueprint reading, machine programming, and basic safety procedures.
• CMM experience.

• CNC MACHINIST 2:
• All Basic Qualifications Required For CNC Machinist 1, And:
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant CNC machining experience.
• Advanced maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform tasks outside of department.
• Expert level experience working with steel and aluminum, hoist operation, measurement capabilities, blueprint reading, machine programming, and basic safety procedures.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $16.00 - $40.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for a quarterly incentive program. Pay rate is based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
