CNC Machinist - 1st or 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes to produce precision-machined components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Make tooling changes, adjust tool offsets, and troubleshoot machining issues to maintain production quality.
• Edit or generate CNC programs as needed.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance, including lubrication and routine machine upkeep.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience setting up and operating CNC Mills and/or CNC Lathes.
• Strong understanding of G & M code.
• Experience with Mazatrol controls is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality standards.

Pay

$32 - $40 per hour
