About the role
Msi Mold Builders in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring full-time CNC Machinists for the 2nd shift to perform levels one, two, and three machining work.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines to create molds for various industries.
- Perform tasks including milling, turning, drilling, taping, de-burring, and inspection.
- Monitor tool inventory and perform quality assurance inspections.
- Implement new procedures, equipment, and tooling to improve efficiency.
- Participate in tooling selection for new techniques.
- Ensure efficient operation by addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies proactively.
Requirements
- 2-year CNC program certificate or diploma OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to perform physical tasks required for the job.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Time management skills.
- Team player attitude.
- Ability to follow directions and work under supervision.
