Key Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs on CNC machine tools and industrial electrical systems.
- Identify and address safety risks and conduct independent equipment evaluations to prevent failures.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including lockout/tag-out procedures and proper PPE usage.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics to resolve equipment issues effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, process, and product-related issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and document all work performed.
- Provide clear feedback to customers on work orders while maintaining compliance with codes and industry standards.
- Suggest improvements to maintenance methods and identify opportunities to enhance equipment performance.
- Operate diagnostic tools, hand tools, computers, and test hardware to complete maintenance tasks.
- Exhibit flexibility to manage daily priorities and adjust work schedules as needed.
- Perform general maintenance tasks and other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience maintaining buildings, facilities, or equipment in a commercial/industrial environment OR a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet using scissor lifts or aerial lifts.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in industrial electrical or a related field.
- Experience working safely with 480V 3-phase circuits.
- Expertise troubleshooting and repairing electric motors, motor controls, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with PC-based work order systems for managing maintenance tasks and reporting.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to obtain a security access badge at the client’s location.
- Availability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and alternative shifts as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Frequently climb ladders, kneel, bend, squat, stretch, and walk throughout the facility during shifts.
- Perform repetitive wrist movements and differentiate wire colors.
- Interact professionally with clients, even in high-stress situations.
