About the role

A Machine Operator focused on machining components for all manufacturing operations. This role involves operating a wide variety of machines and power equipment to produce parts for various products offered in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Manually set up each machine or load computer programs for CNC equipment to produce parts.
• Run material through machines, checking for accuracy and quality.
• Perform timely and regular calibrations and preventive maintenance on assigned machines.
• Ensure the correct materials are used for each product component.
• Identify and use the correct tooling for each operation.
• Maintain 5S standards for the work area.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Support the Quality Policy and Safety Policy.
• Adhere to the Vision and Guiding Principles of Kimball International and facility priorities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
