About the role
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for the manufacture of parts per plant specifications in an accurate and timely manner.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions
- Visually inspects parts to assure conformance with standards and customer requirements
- Inspects tooling for wear and damage
- Properly and safely operates equipment, records production daily
- Operates one or more CNC machines daily while maintaining all quality safety requirements
- Properly and safely loads/unloads machine, records production daily, identifies and isolates non-conforming product, and assists the team leader
- Performs other reasonably related business duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
- 2-5 years related experience required
- Basic computer/technical skills
- Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms 8 hours or more
- Willing and able to work overtime as required
- Willing to work any shift as necessary
- Communicate and understand work instructions both verbally and written in English
- Strong work ethic / Positive attitude / Self-motivated
- Keeps work areas neat, clean, and organized
- High school diploma or equivalent
