About the role
We’re partnering confidentially with a growing precision manufacturer in Southeastern Wisconsin to identify a CNC Machine Operator to join their machining team. This role is responsible for operating CNC equipment to manufacture close-tolerance precision components in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines to produce precision-machined parts to specification
- Receive work instructions, prints, job travelers, and setup documentation
- Load raw material and prepare parts for machining
- Monitor machine performance during operation
- Measure parts and inspect dimensions to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform basic machine adjustments as needed
- Remove burrs, chips, and excess material after operation
- Operate multiple machines when required
- Perform deburring, secondary operations, and finishing work
- Maintain tooling and keep workstations organized
- Complete process sheets, inspection records, and production documentation
- Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives throughout production
Qualifications
- 2-5+ years of machining or CNC operator experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
- Experience using measuring equipment such as: Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges, Optical comparators (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
