CNC Machine Operator

About the role

Since 1989, Lakeland Manufacturing has been producing precision machined components for customers across a variety of industries. As part of the Marmon family of companies and backed by Berkshire Hathaway, we combine the stability of a large organization with the culture of a growing, team-oriented machine shop. We are looking for individuals with machining or manufacturing experience who take pride in producing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes, mills, or other manufacturing equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Use precision measuring tools including calipers and micrometers
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Maintain commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety
• Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• Experience operating CNC machinery or other manufacturing equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using precision measuring tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery and production equipment

Pay

$20.00 - $29.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills. Now offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
