Job Summary

We are looking for a talented CNC Machine Operator to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Fletcher, NC.

Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to improve quality, safety, processes, and material flow will drive ongoing improvements in the workplace.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Skills

  • Lap Line Overview: Responsible for the safe setup, operation, inspection, and operator maintenance of Lap Line work-centers, including operating, manual load/unload of lapper and tester.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Implement changes in processes, equipment, and applications to meet functional needs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Design Tools and Fixtures: Select appropriate work-piece-holding devices to ensure parts and products are securely held during manufacturing processes.
  • Value Differences: Appreciate and leverage the diverse perspectives and cultures within the organization to enhance collaboration and innovation.

Benefits
