CNC Machine Operator - 1st Shift

Quality Packaging Inc. is growing and we're looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. This position requires someone who can take pride in their work, reads blueprints effortlessly, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery to meet production specifications every time.
• Load raw materials and maintain machine performance throughout each run.
• Make tooling changes and adjustments on the fly to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job travelers with ease.
• Troubleshoot issues promptly and communicate effectively with your team to prevent small problems from escalating.
• Keep your workspace clean, organized, and ready for tours every single day.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of CNC experience (~$22-$23/hr)
• 3+ years of CNC experience (preferred) (~$24-$26/hr)
• Strong mechanical aptitude—diagnose first, guess later.
• Comfortable reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments is a plus.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality work.
• Solid basic math and measurement skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or CNC certification is a bonus.

Benefits

Minimal experience 1-2 years: $22-$23 per hour
Experienced (Preferred) 3+ years: $24-$26 per hour

Pay

$22-$26 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

1st Shift | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday

• Overtime: Occasional, as needed based on customer demand
