CNC Inspector

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for insuring inspection list is completed daily
• Pull and return samples as needed
• Ensure compliance with inspection processes and procedures
• Inspect parts as needed
• Process NCMRs written for line rejections
• Perform basic statistical studies as needed
• Notify supervisor and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying problems
• Insure proper clean up and housekeeping procedures are followed
• Comply with all safety regulations
• Complete Other Tasks And Responsibilities As Assigned

Qualifications

• A high school graduate or GED
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience
• Experience using inspection equipment (calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.)
• In depth knowledge of company products and procedures
• Proficient with MS Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Able to read, analyze and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
• Strong communication skills; able to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers and company management
• Able to create a collaborative team environment
• Work independently with little supervision
• Exhibit ethical independence and judgment of the parts and process

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time
• Lift and move a minimum of 20 pounds without assistance
• Working with small parts
• Repetitive hand/arm use
• Work Environment Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Some of the work time is spent in a warehouse environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high

Additional Information

• Salary and Benefits: The hourly range for the position is $20 - $23/hour.
• The individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
