Basic Qualifications
- Proficient with electrical/electronic components of computer numeric control (CNC) equipment, programmable logic control (PLC) equipment and demonstrate a firm understanding and knowledge of the mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic operations of the machines.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of the National Electrical Code as it pertains to machine tools and associated equipment
- Three (3) years working with CNC and PLC machines and components.
Responsibilities
- Install, modify, and repair CNC, PLC, and robotic control hardware and associated wiring according to schematics, service manuals, and performance specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance and detailed troubleshooting using calibrated laser, ball-bar, and other precision test equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues with laptops, test instruments, and diagnostic software.
- Mentor and train junior CNC Electrical Technicians (level B) as needed, and step in to perform their duties when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and promptly report any unusual conditions to the lead or supervisor.
Qualifications
U.S. Citizen required, as this role is located in Dallas.
