CNC AutoCAD Programmer

Greiner Industries is seeking a skilled CNC AutoCAD/SolidWorks Programmer with proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and 3D Modeling. The role involves setting up and optimizing CNC burn bed tables (waterjet, laser, and plasma) for efficient and accurate production. A strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines are essential.

Responsibilities

• Commitment to a safe work environment, quality product, and teamwork.
• Program Laser/Plasma tables and Waterjet Machines using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for complex parts and materials.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds based on materials and specifications.
• Set up and prove out programs on the shop floor, making adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with machinists to refine and optimize machining processes.
• Maintain program files and documentation in an organized and accessible manner.
• Troubleshoot issues related to programming, tooling, and machining operations.
• Ensure all parts meet quality standards and tolerances.

Requirements

• 1+ years of CNC programming experience in a machine shop environment.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tool selection, and material properties.
• Ability to work from 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Familiarity with GD&T and precision measurement tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
