Responsibilities
- Follow manufacturing methods to perform normal job tasks in a safe manner under the direction of the supervisor, group leader or experienced associates in the area.
- Perform general clean up to keep work area clean and organized.
- Set up, adjust and operate all type of CNC equipment in the facility.
- Verify CNC program integrity before operating the equipment.
- Operate the equipment for new CNC programs to validate the first part and provide feedback to the CNC programmer.
- Measure and install tools into equipment.
- Perform self-inspection for the parts resulted from the machining operation.
- Work from blueprints, sketches and process control documents.
- Responsible for quality of parts produced.
- Responsible for documentation and identification generated or related to production of the job.
- Work within close tolerances.
- Work in a safe manner.
- Follows Company’s Compliance requirements.
- Maintains and improves the quality management system.
- Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Education and Training: High school or as deemed sufficient by management
- Technical Requirements: good computer skills; ability to operate all CNC equipment in the plant; basic CNC programming knowledge; ability to use measurement instruments; ability to read drawings and perform basic mathematical calculations; ability to read and interpret routine instructions; good communication skills, good product and internal processes knowledge.
- Experience: At least 5 years work experience in the area, or as deemed sufficient by management
