This is a corporate position focused on meeting client financial goals through tailored investment strategies, portfolio management, and advisory services.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their goals, provide tailored investment guidance, and implement strategies that strengthen relationships and drive long-term financial success.
  • Research investment options, evaluate modeled portfolio performance, rebalance destination accounts, and execute trades to ensure portfolios remain aligned with client objectives and market conditions.
  • Track daily market movements, prepare weekly sales reports, and deliver quarterly presentations to the Trust Investment Committee to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Perform precise review and research for all client and transactional activities while adhering to bank policies, procedures, and federal and state regulations to maintain accuracy and protect client interests.
  • Represent the organization positively in the community, embrace digital tools to improve efficiency, and actively pursue professional development to expand advisory capabilities and support evolving client needs.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Portfolio Management, Wealth Management, Wealth Advisement, or a related field.
  • Prior sales and new business development experience preferred.
  • Proven experience advising clients in investments, pre-retirement, education funding, and financial planning.
  • Successful completion of required background checks.
  • CFA, CIMA, and/or CFP certification preferred.

  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex financial documents, investment research, and regulatory materials. Strong professional communication skills to explain investment concepts and strategies clearly.
  • Technology Skills: Proficient in financial planning software, portfolio modeling tools, trading platforms, market research databases, and CRM systems. Strong digital literacy and adaptability to new technologies.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform advanced financial calculations, interpret charts and statistical data, and evaluate portfolio trends and market conditions.
  • Reasoning Ability: Applies sound judgment and analytical thinking to evaluate investment options, interpret market movements, and solve complex client challenges. Adapts recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment with considerable time spent at a desk using office equipment. Noise level is moderate with constant communication and interactions. Occasional travel to market areas, seminars, or training sessions may be required.
