About the role

The Employee Experience Specialist is responsible for creating, coordinating, and enhancing programs that support employee experience, engagement, onboarding, recognition, culture, and retention throughout the organization. This role works closely with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Information Technology, hiring managers, and Employee Experience Ambassadors to ensure employees have seamless and meaningful experiences from recruitment through long-term employment. The Employee Experience Administrator champions employee feedback, promotes the Bank's core values, and develops innovative solutions that strengthen employee satisfaction, connection, and belonging across all divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate New Employee Onboarding Journeys. Partner with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Information Technology, and hiring managers to create a seamless Day One experience.
  • Lead and support employee engagement initiatives and programs designed to strengthen culture, retention, and employee satisfaction, including New Employee Celebrations at Corporate Headquarters.
  • Coordinate communications and manage RSVP tracking for New Hire Orientation, New Employee Celebrations, and New Employee Collaborations.
  • Administer employee recognition programs, including the You Earned It (YEI) platform, YEI awards, years-of-service awards/pins, and new employee gifts.
  • Facilitate/co-facilitate virtual employee collaboration sessions at 6, 9, 12, and 15 months of employment.
  • Create surveys and other feedback mechanisms to gather employee input. Work with Director of Data Analytics to interpret and suggest potential future initiatives based on the feedback.
  • Collaborate with Employee Experience Ambassadors across all divisions to create engagement opportunities and events.
  • Develop strategies and programs that help connect and engage all employees, with special attention to remote employees.
  • Travel as needed to various divisions for employee recognition events, service award presentations, and engagement activities.
  • Maintain program records, reporting, recognition tracking, and administrative support functions.
  • Support the continued development and execution of employee experience and engagement initiatives, events, and programs.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; related experience and secondary education preferred.
  • Experience in Human Resources, Employee Engagement, Organizational Development, Internal Communications, Event Coordination, or a related field is preferred.
  • Background screening will be conducted.

  • Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate one-on-one and with groups of employees throughout the organization. Ability to facilitate conversations, presentations, collaborations, and employee engagement activities.
  • Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, employee engagement platforms, survey tools, presentation software, email, internet applications, and reporting systems. Ability to utilize technology to communicate, analyze feedback, and manage employee programs.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to analyze employee feedback, identify trends, solve problems, and make sound recommendations and decisions that support employee engagement and organizational objectives.

This position operates primarily in a professional office environment and requires regular interaction with employees, leaders, and departmental partners throughout the organization. Significant time is spent using standard office equipment, communication technology, survey systems, and employee engagement platforms. The noise level is typically moderate.

  • The Employee Experience Specialist may occasionally be required to lift up to 25 pounds, including recognition materials, service awards, promotional items, and event supplies.
  • Travel is required to support employee recognition events, service award presentations, onboarding activities, and engagement initiatives across all division locations.
  • Attendance at meetings, training programs, special events, and conferences may also be required.
