Responsibilities
- Aiding in transferring/moving clients within their homes
- Performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms
- Cooking and preparing meals and snacks according to client instructions
- Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments
- Administering medication reminders
- Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
- Providing companionship activities like reading, listening to music, playing puzzles, etc.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
- CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred
