Salary: $16.10 / hour

About the role

PAID NURSE TRAINING TRACK! Have you always been a caretaker by nature? Perhaps you are a nursing student, former CNA, HHA or PCA? This is an opportunity to make a difference (and a paycheck), up close and personal, helping to take care of our loved ones. Apply today to our PAID CNA Training Track.

The CNA Training Track (Support Aide) provides insight into the direct care role by working alongside our clinicians, completing tasks for our resident population. Once accepted, you will be slotted into the next available Nurse Aide Training Program to become a CNA.

Elderwood's CNA Training course lasts three weeks, Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM–3:30 PM (times may vary slightly). Until officially slotted for training, you will work a designated shift as a Trainee. The first two weeks consist of classroom training; the third week is clinical. After passing, your status (and pay) will adjust from Support Aide to CNA. Elderwood covers the CNA certification test and any applicable onboarding requirements, including PPD and physical for eligible candidates. Training is PAID—you will clock in during training hours and earn wages while you learn.
