CNA Trainee

About the role

Dove Healthcare is offering a CNA Trainee program that covers the cost of your CNA class and testing fee, pays you $15 per hour for attendance time in the class, and provides a $500 bonus after six months of employment as a CNA at a participating Dove Healthcare location. The program includes a 75‑hour class, state competency exam at no cost, and pathways to advance to medication aide, LPN, RN, or management positions.

Schedule

Upcoming Class: October 20 – November 19

• Days: Tuesday – Thursday
• Time: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Pay

• $15 per hour for attendance time in the CNA class
• Total attendance compensation: $1,125 for the 75‑hour class
• $500 bonus after six consecutive months of work as a CNA (must be employed at the time of payout)

Requirements

• Preferred age: 18 years or older
• Complete the application for the CNA Trainee position
• Successful interview
• Sign the program agreement
• Select and enroll in a free CNA class that fits your schedule (assistance provided)
• Attend and be paid for each hour of the 75‑hour class
• Pass the state competency exam at no cost
• Work six consecutive months as a CNA at a participating Dove Healthcare location to qualify for the $500 bonus

Responsibilities

• Attend the scheduled CNA class sessions (Tuesday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–9:00 PM)
• Complete all 75 hours of class instruction
• Participate in the state competency exam
• Provide direct patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant after certification
• Maintain attendance and performance standards to remain eligible for program incentives
• Follow Dove Healthcare policies and procedures while delivering compassionate care
