CNA to LPN Bridge Program
About the CNA to LPN Bridge Program
The CNA to LPN Bridge Program is designed for working CNAs and other healthcare professionals who wish to become Licensed Practical Nurses. It is offered in partnership with the University of Hawai’i Maui College’s hybrid Practical Nursing (PN) program. Eligible employees on four islands can participate while working, with graduates receiving a Certificate of Achievement and being prepared to work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse at our Ohana Pacific Health Communities.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum age of 18.
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with the State of Hawaii or enrollment in a State Approved Nurse Aide Program.
- Completion of prerequisites by September 2026.
- A current and valid 2 Step TB clearance (can be done in-house).
