CNA to LPN Bridge Program
About the role
The CNA to LPN Bridge Program is designed for working CNAs and other healthcare professionals who wish to transition into becoming Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
Responsibilities
- Become a Licensed Practical Nurse within 14 months.
- Work towards obtaining a Certificate of Achievement from the University of Hawai'i Maui College's Practical Nursing program.
- Graduates will be prepared to work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse at Ohana Pacific Health Communities.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum age of 18.
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with the State of Hawaii or enrollment in a State Approved Nurse Aide Program.
- Completion of prerequisites by September 2026.
- A current and valid 2 Step TB clearance (can be done in-house).

Schedule
The CNA to LPN Bridge Program begins January 2027 and ends in December 2027.
