About the role

The Summer CNA “Speed Interview” Event offers unique career opportunities across various clinical areas at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Candidates can expect on-the-spot interviews with key decision-makers and direct interaction with the Talent Acquisition team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in speed interviews with multiple hiring managers
• Connect directly with the Talent Acquisition team
• Gain access to diverse clinical areas including Critical Care, Trauma, Med/Surg, Oncology, Respiratory, Neuroscience, and more
• Work in Full Time Night Shift and Limited Full Time Day Shift positions
• Support patient care in departments such as Orthopedic, IRF, Medical Renal/Diabetic/Wound Care, General Surgical, Medical 1, Medical 2, Medical 3, Neurology, and Trauma PCU

Requirements

• Florida licensure as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), EMT, Paramedic, or Military Corpsman
• National licensure as an EMT
• Candidates must maintain active CNA license during employment
• Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Successfully complete a Florida State Board approved CNA training program and obtain a Florida CNA license within 120 days of graduation
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Qualifications

• Eligible Nursing students must be currently enrolled or a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (RN/LPN)
• Must have completed the first semester of clinical for ASN/BSN degree or first trimester for LPN
• Cannot be currently licensed as a RN or LPN in the U.S.
