About the role
Provides and assists in the provision of, direct patient care under the supervision of a RN/LPN and whose activities require an understanding of basic anatomical, biological, psychological, cultural, and social sciences.
Responsibilities
- Assists in providing direct patient care under the supervision of a RN/LPN.
- Understands and applies knowledge of basic anatomical, biological, psychological, cultural, and social sciences to patient care.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an Alaska state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements.
- Upon hire: Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License.
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Qualifications
- Coursework/Training: Some college courses in nursing or therapy field.
- 3 months Nursing assistant experience in acute or extended care.

Up to $2,500 hiring bonus for eligible full-time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
