CNA - SNF - MP Rehab - Days

About the role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Morton Plant Rehab-Madonna Ptak Center on the Morton Plant Hospital campus, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate patient care under the direct supervision of an RN or LPN. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the patient rooms and common areas.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
• Provide basic patient care, including administering medications as directed by a physician or nurse.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of care plans and progress.
• Ensure that patient needs are met and report any concerns to supervising staff immediately.

Requirements

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, or willing to obtain before start date

Qualifications

Preferred, but not required:

• One year or more of Certified Nursing Assistant work experience in a Long-Term Acute Care, Inpatient Rehabilitation or Skilled Nursing Facility

Schedule

Full Time (40 hours a week), Overtime available, but not required.

Shift Hours: Days (6:45 am-3:15 pm)

Weekend Work: Every Other
