About the role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Morton Plant Rehab-Madonna Ptak Center on the Morton Plant Hospital campus, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate patient care under the direct supervision of an RN or LPN. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the patient rooms
- Monitor and record vital signs as directed
- Provide basic hygiene and grooming assistance
- Ensure patient comfort and safety
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
- Follow infection control protocols
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, or willing to obtain before start date
- One year or more of Certified Nursing Assistant work experience in a Long-Term Acute Care, Inpatient Rehabilitation or Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus
Qualifications

- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, or willing to obtain before start date

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently

- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices

Pay
Salary range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule
Full Time (40 hours a week), Overtime available, but not required. Shift Hours: Days (6:45 am-3:15 pm)
