Right at Home Peachtree City is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with a current Georgia state certification for positions in Clayton, Coweta, Fayette, Heard, Henry, Lamar, Meriwether, Pike, Spalding, Troup, and Upson counties.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities assisting patients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to:
  • Personal hygiene
  • Ambulation and transfers
  • Dressing and shaving
  • Meal and snack preparation
  • Accompanying patients on errands or medical appointments
  • Light housekeeping
• Performs patient-specific activities as taught by a Right at Home nurse, including but not limited to:
  • Providing hospice supportive care
  • Medication reminders
  • Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Assisting with blood glucose monitoring
  • Care of bed-bound patients
  • Incontinence care
  • Use of lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Requirements

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from the state of Georgia
• Current documents required for expedited hiring process:
  • Background check
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • TB test taken within 6 months or a valid chest x-ray within 12 months
  • Reliable transportation
  • Current driver’s license
  • Proof of auto insurance
  • Social security card
  • Green Card/passport
