CNA/RCA

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living
• Affords assistance with medication reminders, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Sets up, serves meals, and cleans up afterwards
• Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans
• Aids Residents moving in and out, as assigned
• Affords laundry service
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains a clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for Residents, staff, and visitors, including housekeeping services for Residents

Qualifications

• A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly is a must
• This job requires a high school diploma
• At least 1 year of experience with a CNA certification is preferred
• A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory
• Alzheimer’s and Dementia training is preferred, but not required
