Job Duties

You will be part of a team supporting adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program. Your responsibilities include:

• Providing assistance with daily activities
• Ensuring a structured routine that includes individual community outings
• Meal preparation
• Assistance with activities of daily living
• Personal care
• Medical appointments
• Medication distribution

Community Outings

As a direct care professional, you will provide opportunities for individuals to integrate into the community and enjoy outings that interest them. Examples include movies, shopping, dinner, baseball games, and bowling.

Qualifications

• A valid Massachusetts CNA License
• A compassionate person who enjoys making a difference in someone's life
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record
• A valid driver's license; use of your personal vehicle
• A TB screening and physical is required upon hire and a TB update every two years after
