Quality Medical Technician (QMT) Responsibilities

• Medication administration
• Obtaining vital signs
• Aiding in sick call using medical protocols
• Communicating with the facility or on-call Medical Provider
• Responding to medical emergencies
• Performing life-saving measures and taking charge in emergencies
• Collecting laboratory specimens as needed
• Fulfilling the "Rules of 100" and providing patient care accordingly
• Maintaining accurate and updated information in patient charts

Requirements

• Active CPR certification
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in the medical field
• EMT, QMA, or CMA certification preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
