About the role

This position is accountable to the bedside RN and charge nurse to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family and providers in the department. Duties include completing tasks delegated for the shift and maintaining clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, hazard-free, clean environment facilitating patient-focused care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Completed training program for Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) or equivalent.
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Coursework/Training - Completed training program for Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) or any equivalent.
• Coursework/Training - Completion of Medical Terminology course required or successful completion of hospital Medical terminology test within 90 days of hire.

Pay

Up to $2,500 hiring bonus for eligible full-time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Schedule

Full Time (3) 12-Hour Shifts per week. Shifts: Night & Day Shift based on current needs.

Premium Pay Differentials: Nights: $4.00/hr Weekends $2.20/hr
