Minimum pay: $20 an hour

About the role

Assist RNs and LPNs with meeting the needs of hospitalized patients or nursing home residents. Archbold Medical Center is a four-hospital, four-nursing-home health system with 540 patient beds, employing more than 2,500 people and boasting an outstanding medical staff of nearly 200 qualified physician specialists.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in nursing reports by receiving and contributing to status reports of patient
• Provide complete and thorough personal care for patients
• Take and accurately record vital signs
• Assist and accompany the patient in the admission, transfer, and discharge process while assuring comfort and safety
• Promptly and consistently respond to patient's needs
• Promptly and consistently respond to needs of family members
• Complete housekeeping responsibilities such as utility rooms and diet kitchen as needed
• Assist with ADL’s—personal care, feeding, bathing, and dressing
• Provide support to patients and family members

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Current Georgia CNA certification required
• Previous patient care experience in hospital setting preferred
