CNA- Per Diem

About the Role

Covenant Living, the nation’s sixth-largest nonprofit senior living provider, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to help fulfill our common purpose: to create joy and peace of mind for our residents and their families by creating a better way of life. Positions are available in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care.

Reports directly to the nurse manager and may also take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff. Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis, assisting with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignment. This includes but is not limited to:

• Bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toilet activities, grooming, feeding, transportation/transfer
• Maintaining resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner (light housekeeping, changing linen, making beds, tidying personal spaces, cleaning bathrooms)
• Assisting with resident laundry (marking, cleaning, mending, ironing, and putting away clothes)
• Notifying supervisor of residents’ clothing needs
• Preparing residents for meals, assisting with serving meals, and feeding residents

May be cross-trained in Assisted Living.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion and passing of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $19.13 - $25.43 per hour. Factors considered in determining the actual offered rate include job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and internal/external equity.
