CNA Per Diem 8-12 hour shifts

Our healthcare professionals have the opportunity each and every day to make a difference in the lives of older adults that reside in our quaint 43‑bed skilled nursing facility located in Mercer Island on the shores of Lake Washington. It is 5 minutes from Factoria Mall, 3 minutes off I‑90, maintains a 1:8 NAC‑to‑resident ratio, and is a 5‑star facility.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the nurse manager; may also take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff.
• Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Assists residents with basic personal care: bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toilet activities, grooming, feeding, transportation/transfer.
• Maintains resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner: light housekeeping, changing linen, making beds, putting away clothing and personal effects, tidying bedside table, shelves, closets, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Assists with resident laundry: ensures clothes are marked, clean, mended, ironed, and put away; notifies supervisor of clothing needs as they occur.
• Prepares residents for meals, assists with serving meals and feeding residents.
• May be cross‑trained in Assisted Living.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Pay

The position offers a pay range of $21.95‑$29.22 per hour. The actual rate is determined based on job‑related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and internal/external equity considerations.
