Responsibilities

• Aid with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Maintain and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's well-being.
• Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
• Engage memory care clients with reminders and activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement personalized care plans.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations during care delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home care or healthcare setting required.
• Ability to monitor vital signs and recognize changes in health status.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) for interactions with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Compassion, patience, and dedication to improving the quality of life for others.
• Pass necessary background checks according to state requirements.

Licenses / Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification (Required)
• Negative TB Test (Required)
• Driver’s License (Preferred)
