What Does the Job Entail?

You will be part of a team supporting adults with development disabilities in a residential program. Direct Care Professionals provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine that includes individual community outings. Meal preparation, assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, medical appointments, and medication distribution are some of the tasks you will perform.

Community Outings

As a Direct Care Professional, you will provide opportunities for individuals to integrate into the community and enjoy outings that interest them. Examples of some outings include the movies, shopping, going to dinner, baseball game, bowling.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts C.N.A. License
• A compassionate person who enjoys making a difference in someone's life
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record
• A valid driver's license; use of your personal vehicle
• A TB screening and physical is required upon hire and a TB update every two years after

Requirements

• Must have an interest in CNA, PCA, and HHA type work
• Candidates with an interest in Human Services, Psychology, and Sociology programs are encouraged to apply
