CNA Part-Time

Location: Kern River Transitional Care Center – Bakersfield, CA

Join a team where leadership supports your success, your work is appreciated, and your compassion makes a real difference. We’re seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) dedicated to providing exceptional, person-centered care in a supportive and engaging environment.

As a CNA, you will provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and toileting. You will promote independence and dignity while maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and restorative care
• Observe and report changes in resident condition
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with policies
• Support residents’ rights and individuality
• Provide compassionate care and emotional support
• Use safe lifting techniques and follow infection control procedures

Requirements

• Valid California CNA certification in good standing
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Pay

$18–$20 per hour

Schedule

12-hour shifts, full-time and part-time positions available
