CNA: Part & Full Time Positions (Bowie and Laurel Area)

Freedom Home Care is adding new cases throughout most of Maryland. We welcome applications from those interested in joining our caregiving team or simply joining our text list to receive updates on new cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care for the client, including personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and assistance with toileting
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Meal planning, preparation, and cooking
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Medication reminders and/or management
• Prescription pick-up
• Other home care needs as required

Qualifications

• High School graduate or G.E.D.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (in-person class required)
• Current CNA license
• Complete a criminal background check
• Must have PPD or chest x-ray
• Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile for transportation
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to lift 150 lbs.
• Previous professional or personal caregiving experience is a plus
