CNA or Nurse Assistant-ICU/CCU (Full-Time, Days)

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant under the supervision of the Registered Nurse may give patient care, perform selected nursing procedures, transport non-controlled medications, and assist the nurse in coordinating special tasks and providing support to the patient care team.

Desired EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in nursing unit or hospital environment
• Minimum: Current certification with the CA Department of Health Services Licensing & Certification Board OR current student in an LVN or RN program who has completed at least one clinical semester
• Current CPR Certification

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

• Demonstrate technical competence
• Communicate effectively
• Show sensitivity for the hospitalized patient and family
