About the role
Our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) provide a variety of services to maintain and support activities of daily living for our residents under the supervision of a nurse. The role is responsible for providing strong customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services including: bathing/shampooing, oral hygiene, dressing/undressing, grooming, shaving, toileting, positioning/body alignment, mobility/transferring, and other care as designated
- Provide other services as assigned including skin and incontinence care, assisting with prosthetics, nail/foot care, functional skills, and as needed monitors/observes
- Provides homemaking tasks, including but not limited to, cleaning apartments; washing, folding, and putting away laundry of bed linens, towels, personal clothing, and bed making according to the service plan as needed
- With the direction and supervision of a nurse, administers resident medications in the prescribed dosage and time
- Assists residents in dining, including but not limited to, assists with eating, delivers meals, and assists with meal clean up as needed
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) in good standing in Wisconsin
- One year nursing assistant care experience in senior services preferred
- Current state department-approved medication administration certification preferred
- Current state department-approved CPR, First Aid, and Choking certification preferred
- Knowledgeable about the Home Care Bill of Rights as it applies to the CNA

- Ability to be flexible with hours'/shift schedules and assignments
