CNA/Nursing Assistant/Nurse Apprentice Full-Time Night Shift
POSITION SUMMARY & HIGHLIGHTS
St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a CNA, Nursing Assistant, or Nurse Apprentice to join their dedicated nursing team. Positions are available for full-time night shift across departments including General Surgery, Medical Oncology, Telemetry, Orthopedics, and the Float Pool. Ideal candidates must be adaptable, committed to continuous learning, and collaborative.
Description
Schedule: 3 shifts per week from 7pm-7:30am. Flexibility to work varied schedules including weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
What You Will Do
- Support clinical staff at the unit level by performing clerical, receptionist, and patient service coordination tasks.
- Perform various nursing care services and related non-professional services necessary for patient care, under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.
Minimum Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the State of Idaho OR maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing OR complete the Trinity Nursing Assistant Program.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network required at hire.
- Six months Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups (Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric).
