About the Facility
The Rehab and Nursing Center – Leffingwell is designed with healing in mind, offering 80 private rooms each equipped with an accessible bathroom, comfortable guest seating, a large screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, and nature views. The center specializes in post-acute rehab for patient specialties such as neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries, amputations, heart failure, spinal cord injuries, and joint replacements.
A dedicated interdisciplinary team, along with physical, occupational, recreation, and speech therapists, provides customized therapy programs using the latest technology and techniques to maximize independence and mobility, preparing patients to return home.

About the Role
Acts as a team member in delivering quality, direct patient care. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and communicates observations to members of the healthcare team. Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse, consistent with unit policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct day-to-day care of assigned residents/patients, including dressing, bathing, transporting, and feeding
- Document care provided as directed in a manner consistent with guidelines
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course
- CRT-Nursing Assistant certification (Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Community and Health Systems) within 90 days
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days

Schedule
Part-time, night shift (6:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.), 24 hours per week. Days worked are variable, with every weekend required.
