About the role

As a Visiting Angels CNA Nurse Aide, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take prescription medications appropriately.
• Provide assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands.
• Participate in advanced training opportunities such as dementia care and Alzheimer’s care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle for client transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response (provided if needed).
• Excellent time‑management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes as scheduled.
• Physical endurance for tasks such as carrying groceries and supporting clients physically.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with state and office‑specific health and safety standards (e.g., background check).
• Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten each client’s day.

• PRN (as needed)
