About the role
Responsible for providing compassionate care to patients in a medical/surgical setting. Duties include assisting with personal hygiene, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining patient records.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks
- Administer prescribed medications accurately
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care plans
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
Skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
