Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as light housekeeping, preparing meals, assisting with personal hygiene, and grocery shopping
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Teach patients essential self-care skills, as needed
• Help the patient navigate the healthcare system by scheduling appointments and communicating needs to the nursing team, when appropriate

Requirements

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification/license
• Current CPR certification
• Attention to detail; able to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient’s condition
• Active driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations
