CNA, Memory Care - Part Time

About the role

The Resident Assistant at Spectrum Retirement Communities is responsible for providing assistance to residents, responding to emergencies, documenting care, and transporting residents. This role requires familiarity and willingness to work with the elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair, and maintaining resident apartments
• Document and report care provided and resident observations
• Obtain vital signs, heights, and weights
• Respond to emergency calls and situations

Requirements

• Must be an active Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Kansas
• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents
• If under 18, must provide proper schoolwork authorization (if applicable)
• Must complete all state educational requirements, CPR is preferred
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with an elderly population, particularly memory care is preferred
