CNA, Memory Care - Full Time

About the role

The Resident Assistant at Spectrum Retirement Communities is responsible for providing assistance to residents, responding to emergencies, documenting care, and maintaining cleanliness in resident apartments.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair, and apartment maintenance
• Document and report care provided and resident observations
• Obtain vital signs, heights, and weights
• Respond to emergency calls and situations as needed

Requirements

• Must be an active Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Kansas
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must complete all state educational requirements, CPR is preferred
• Must have a First Aid certification and Heimlich Maneuver training
• Experience working with an elderly population, particularly memory care is preferred

Qualifications

• Must be under the age of 18, must provide proper schoolwork authorization (if applicable)
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met
