About the role
Westminster Suncoast is seeking a full-time CNA/Med-Tech for a 7am-3pm shift.
Responsibilities
- Routine daily nursing care for assigned residents in accordance with nursing care procedures and as directed by supervisor.
- Taking vital signs and reporting observations and any change in condition to the nurse.
- Ensuring daily tasks are completed: making beds, removing trash, serving meals, maintaining hygiene, practicing infection prevention and control, documenting in CNA ECS flow-sheet, making rounds, ensuring safety equipment is in place, avoiding skin problems, assisting with incontinent care, and assisting the Activities Dept with activities for residents.
Requirements
- CNA certification
- Med Tech Certification
- CPR and First Aid certificate
Qualifications
- Experience with daily living activities
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control
- Ability to document accurately and complete rounds frequently
Skills
- Compliance with healthcare regulations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina for patient care
Benefits
- Starting rate: $16.60 per hour
