CNA/LNA I-PRN

About the role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will assist licensed care staff in performing a variety of clinical and technical tasks for assigned residents. This includes helping with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, dining/tray services, escort services, taking vital signs and weights, and other care-related duties as assigned. You will also participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities and report resident changes of condition as they occur.

On-call pay rate: $23/hr.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living for residents
• Perform light housekeeping and dining/tray services
• Provide escort services for residents
• Take vital signs and weights
• Carry out other care-related duties as assigned
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities
• Notify care team of resident changes of condition

Requirements

• Current state certification as a CNA
• Experience is required; prior experience with geriatric clients is preferred
• High School diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)
• Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications
• Current First Aid certification or willingness to become certified
• Food handlers certification and Certified Medical Technician/Certified Medication Aide certification, where required
• Basic computer skills or ability to learn
